It is amazing how fast 15 years goes by. Our Eldest son is now 15 years old. When he was born 15 years ago and we held him in our arms little did I know how much he was going to bless our lives. When we were struggling to name him in the hospital we gave him the middle name James after his Grandfather Hake since his nose reminded Nathan of his Grandfather. We named him Timothy because it means God's Honor and God Fearing. At the time little did I know that Timothy would live up to his name. His love and dedication to the Lord continues to amaze me. A little over a month ago he surprised us with a Family home evening exercise that he came up with on his own and had mailed to my husbands entire family on his own. It moved me to tears to see how much he loves all his family including extended that he came up with something to help all to start following the Lord when it comes to treatment of family and being together forever. He even put Nathan and I in our place. He continues to prepare himself to serve a mission. What a great kid we have been blessed with. I know that the day he was born that we were watched over as the nurses were able to start his heart again during labor. He has a special mission to accomplish here.
Timothy wanted a few friends over to the house on Sunday before his birthday. So they came over for dessert, games and company. My parents were also able to come for an entire week now that my father is retired. We had a very enjoyable week and even got to go cheer Timothy on as he got personal records in both the 400m and 800m races.
