(7/23) Yesterday was just a "day" to Sam, but to the rest of us it was an adventurous and fun day in the city. Unfortunately, Nathan had to stay back at the hotel with Sariah, who was sick. However, Tim, Sam, Solinda , Brad and Jennifer went to the Trinity Church in the morning, then Wall Street, Battery Park, Bowling Green Central Park, and Times Square throughout the day.
First thing, we ate breakfast then took the Subway to Brooklyn Bridge to go to the Trinity Church. The Service at the Trinity Church was enjoyable and memorable. After the service we explored around the old church and looked around the cemetery just outside the church.
After the Trinity Church it was a long day of walking; we journeyed to Wall Street then to Battery Park and Bowling Green.
After that we took the Subway up to Times Square and to Central Park. Tim's and Sam's highlight of the day was The Lake in Central Park.
To get back to the hotel, we took the Subway back. Even though Nathan had to stay back with Sariah all day, he said that he enjoyed spending the day with his daughter despite the fact that he had never seen New York City before. All in all, it was a full day with lots of sightseeing and memories.
