Our day started with Minions again and Shrek - which the kids really liked. E.T. was also a fun new ride and is a suspended ride in the building. Nathan liked it so much it was his favorite of the day. We then went on The Mummy Returns ride and went on it twice with 5-minute waits (Sam loved it!). All this was completed in our first hour - by far our best use of time!!!
Next Tim, Brad and Nathan went on Rockit which was a very fast and fun ride where we got to pick our music. The heat was quite intense and we slowly made our way over to the Hogwarts Express to the Islands of Adventure to get over to Toon Lagoon so we could on Dudley Dooright's Ripsaw Falls logride, which was our longest wait at 40 minutes. Sariah's quote at the end after the big slide was "This was the best ride ever :)"
We then trekked back to Hogsmeade to use our dining plan passes to get our frozen butter beers from the day before. We enjoyed our dining area behind the Hogshead and the Three Broomsticks.
We then left to a great lunch at Zorba's Greek Cuisine. Feta cheese, chicken, dips, fresh veggies and authentic food were devoured by all. We got back at 3:30, napped and then headed down to the Mystic Dunes Clubhouse for the Luau/Casino Night.
We started with some great caricatures drawn of all 7 of us, then the food and dancing from several Polynesian islands, fire baton twirling and dancing from the crowd - which Jen, Solinda, Tim and Nathan participated in...Casino Night with fake money was next. Sam did very well in 21 and won 5 to 10 thousand on his own. We all had a great time. We all got to dance around alot too and that was fun for everyone. On the way, Tim and Sam thanked us for taking them and apologized for not wanting to go so they could stay back and do their own thing...
